BRANDING AND WEBSITE DESIGN

Hall Farm Butchers are based in Framlingham, Suffolk and recently decided to update their brand. With the help of local company About Media, the idea behind the new look was developed. The most important aspect was for their customers to be able to see what they offer at a glance. Therefore, within their logo, they wanted to incorporate their speciality meats in some way. I developed a logo based on animal silhouettes; an effective way of being able to create a farm yard feel and communicate the idea of a ‘nurturing’ family farm. We kept the colour palette simple and classic. The website was born of the logo, with the header illustrations focusing on the subject matter of the page. A key design point for the website was that it should be unlike any other butchers in the area, so the pages feature wooden chopping boards, knives and meat for a truly rustic feel.
